Interim Director of Financial Recovery – this assignment was a six-month programme to help the Trust redesign its Cost Improvement Planning process, identify a 2015/16 plan and build a future three-year plan. The Trust had been operating the common spreadsheet driven tracker. The key issues facing the Trust were to simplify the system, strengthen the performance management and accountability, embed capability within Clinical Divisions rather than a central function and use the significant data available to build sustainable and demonstrable efficiencies.
